Gunskirchen concentration camp
Transit camp for Jewish prisoners from the Mauthausen concentration camp; it existed from March to May 4, 1945. For 17,000 to 20,000 prisoners, there were only seven unfinished barracks and a tent camp. The hygienic conditions were abysmal, and the mortality rate was very high.
